Jonah Benchek grew up in home filled with music. He began piano instruction at 6 years old and joined the Tri-C Saturday Jazz Program at age 13.  Jonah gigged around the Cleveland area throughout high school as part of Spirit of the Groove, an all-star teen jazz combo directed by trumpeter Dominick Farinacci. At 18 years old, Jonah stepped away from the live music scene. In early 2024, he was introduced to Henry and started attending LoConti rehearsals.  After a couple gigs and studio sessions, Jonah was asked to join the band as a permanent member.  Off stage, Jonah can be found rocking climbing, hiking and spending quality time with his cat, Folded Ears.
